Child Protection

The parish of St James the Great is committed to the safety and welfare of children.  Together with the Diocese we cooperate fully with COPCA, the Catholic Office for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults, which aims to help the Church become an example of best practice in Child Protection, and develop a "culture of vigilance", to ensure that children in our care are kept safe from harm.
Our Child Protection Officers are Monica Cahill and Philip Cosgrave. They can be contacted through the Parish office (01689 827100).
For further information on Child Protection please click here to see the Southwark Diocesan website.
