It may be helpful to to read the following guidance for accessing the survey data. The links above will take you to an online survey system called SurveyMonkey. Don't worry, this monkey doesn't bite, nor will it be frightened by your errant mouse! In other words - you can't damage the data or your own computer by visiting this website. The guidelines below apply equally to each survey.
1. The first screen you should see is titled View Summary. The purpose of this is to show you the numerical results of each multiple choice question. For example, if you scroll down the main survey you will see that 37.6% of respondents answered "Agree" to question 2.
2. Questions 6, 7 & 8 are the ones in which respondents were asked to rate features (either 4 grades or 5 as well as a Don't know option). The average rating shown in the tables includes the Don't knows and is therefore not very helpful.
3. You can view the detailed responses by clicking on the little blue links saying Show replies. If there are more than 10 responses, you will need to advance through them either by clicking the right arrow on the progress bar below the 10th, or change the number of responses shown per page.
4. Although this is useful for scanning all respondents' comments made to a single question, it is impossible to relate the answers given by a particular respondent, i.e. you can't relate person A's comment to Q3 with the one he may have made to Q4. However, having spotted a particularly interesting comment, you can click the Find... link and then read the whole form. You are now in browse mode and can work your way through the forms in sequence from this screen. This is the best way to look at the Parish Group forms.
5. When you are in View Summary mode, you can revert to browsing mode by scrolling back to the top of the page and clicking Browse Responses >>. Use << Prev and Next >> to do this. When you are in Browse Responses mode you can switch to the summary by clicking View Summary >>.
