Petts Wood Residents Association service in the Memorial Hall at 4.00pm with the Christ Church orchestra. The speaker will be Rosemary Norris from Demelza House.
Monday 7th June
Craft and Skills Afternoon. If you have you a craft and skill you can share, would like to learn a craft or skill, or just come in for a chat and a cup of tea. There will be a craft and skills afternoon starting on Monday 7th June for ladies and gents at 1.25-3.15pm. Please do come along and join us. Contact Sheila Simon for more information.

First Holy Communion Mass at 10.30am. Please pray for the 31 children making their First Holy Communion.
There will be a Mass in celebration of the sacrament of marriage in St George's Cathedral for those celebrating their 10th, 25th, 40th, 50th, or 60th+ wedding anniversary. You are most welcome to renew your vows at this special Mass in our cathedral. There will be a list in the porch for you to sign.

Weekend 19/20th June
John Murphy of "You Touch Africa" will be speaking at all Masses about the charity set up by Fr Arbo Lekule. The Justice and Peace Group has invited John because this charity will be a major focus for its activities over the next year.
Saturday 19th June
We welcome, through Holy Baptism at 4.30pm, James Finlay Rothon, his parents Mark and Helen and godparents Kathryn and Simon.
Newcomers to the Parish evening. The 6.00pm Mass will be offered for the intention of those who have joined the parish in the last 12-18 months. This will be followed by a get together in the Social Centre. About 50 families have been invited this year - apologies if you have been missed and please feel welcome to attend if this is the case. This event was a great success when held last year. See the pictures.

Taizé Service at 7.00pm which is a wonderful way to end a June evening, meditation, music and silence.
Tuesday 22nd June
A special joint PAT and MaP meeting in the Social Centre. All members of both teams are requested to attend.
Wednesday 23rd June
There will be a Welcomers' meeting in the Social Centre at 8.00pm. This is a crucial ministry and we could do with a few more people for each Mass. Please attend if you think you would like to help.

CWL meeting in the Social Centre at 8.00pm with a talk on Rudyard Kipling. All welcome.
Tuesday 29th June
Solemnity of SS Peter and Paul – Masses at 8.00pm on the 28th (Vigil) and 9.30am on 29th June. This is a Holy Day of Obligation and all Catholics should be at Mass.
Wednesday 30th June
9.30am Mass in church with St James' School, led by Years 4 and 5.
