Holy Thursday 1st April
No morning Mass today.
Mass of the Last Supper at 8.00pm; all Eucharistic ministers are asked to attend and to renew their ministry for the forthcoming year.  Mass followed by Watching at the Blessed Sacrament until 11.00pm.  Please sign for the watch (15 minutes).
 
Good Friday 2nd April
10.00am Children's Stations of the Cross
 3.00pm Solemn Liturgy
 8.00pm Taizé prayer around the Cross
 
Holy Saturday 3rd April
Solemn Vigil of Easter and Mass at 9.00pm.  We shall welcome, through Holy Baptism at the Vigil Mass, James Travers (15 weeks), his parents Miriam and Colin, and godparents Adrian and Kevin.
 
Easter Sunday 4th April
Masses at 10.00am and 11.30am.
 
Mondays 19th, 26th April
Confirmation class at 7.00pm in the Social Centre.
Evangelium course continues in the Social Centre, 8.15pm for 8.30-9.45pm.
 
Tuesday 13th April
Justice and Peace Group meets at 8.00pm in the Social Centre.  All parishioners are warmly welcomed.
Rehearsal of Petts Wood Festival Chorus at 8.00pm in church.
 
Thursday 15th April
Parish Forum to receive the accounts and reports of 2009.  There will also be an update on the Hall development project, as well as a review of the past year and thoughts on the next.  The meeting will start at 8.00pm in the Social Centre and as many parishioners as possible should try to attend.
 
Saturday 17th April
We welcome, through Holy Baptism at 4.30pm, Austin Fulton (8 months), his parents, John and Sarah and godparents, Joanna  and Simon.
 
Wednesday 21st April
Children’s Liturgy meeting for everyone involved, starting at 8.00pm in the Social Centre. Anyone who would like to join the rota of helpers is invited to attend.
 
Social Centre development Specification Team meeting at 8.00pm in the church Meeting Room.
 
Friday 24th April
Mass will be at 11.00am with Bishop Pat presiding, not at 9.30am.
 
Friday to Sunday 23rd-25th April
St James' RC Primary School will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary.  A weekend of festivities is being planned including a Mass on Friday celebrated by Bishop Patrick.  More details here.  The PTA is collecting memories and photos of the last 40 years. Sunday 25th April
We welcome, through Holy Baptism, Aidan Oliver Coles (10 months), his parents Georg and Evelyn and godparents Adrian and Laura.
Taizé style service at 7.00pm.  A very meditative service using the haunting Taizé music.  Everyone is most welcome and especially young people. Music, silence, meditation - followed by refreshments.
 
Monday 26th April
CWL meeting at 7.30pm in the Social Centre with a talk by Pauline Fabriccatore on “The History and Culture of Romany Gypsies”.  All ladies welcome.
