2010 Easter Services at St James'
Palm Sunday 28th March
Taizé style service at 7.00pm. A very meditative service using the haunting Taizé music. Everyone is most welcome and especially young people.
Monday 29th March
Confessions from 10.00-10.30am.
Tuesday 30th March
Confessions from 10.00-11.00am.
Mass at 7.15pm with confessions heard at 6.45pm.
Wednesday 31st March
11.30am Mass of Chrism at the Cathedral in the morning.
Holy Thursday 1st April
No morning Mass today.
Mass of the Last Supper at 8.00pm followed by Watching at the Blessed Sacrament until 11.00pm. Please sign the list in the porch (15 minutes).
All Eucharistic Ministers are asked to attend Mass to renew their ministry for the forthcoming year.
Good Friday 2nd April
10.00am Children's Stations of the Cross
3.00pm Solemn Liturgy
8.00pm Taizé prayer around the Cross
Holy Saturday 3rd April
Solemn Vigil of Easter, with infant baptism (James Travers, 15 weeks), and Mass at 9.00pm.
Easter Sunday 4th April
Masses at 10.00am and 11.30am.
