Journey in Faith
St James' Church is open to all who may enquire about the Catholic Faith. Already many non-Catholics - usually the partners of Catholics - worship in St James' and they are most welcome. In addition, enquiries are often received from people who would like to know a little more.
New Journey in Faith - course called "Evangelium"
If you are not a Catholic, or if you are but would like to 'start again', you might like to know that there will be an open evening, without obligation, on Monday 11th January 2010 at 8.30pm (coffee from 8.15pm) to discuss a brand new weekly course on the basics of the Catholic Faith. Do come for a taster!
Sessions of the new course start on 18th January and will take place fortnightly at 281A Crescent Drive, on Mondays at 8.30pm, and end promptly at 10.00pm. Any non-Catholic (18+ years) is most welcome to this group, which will explain the basics of the Catholic faith. However Catholics (especially spouses) are also warmly welcome. Further information from Father Bryan Wells (Priest-in-Charge, 01689 827100).
Whoever you are, whatever your background, you will be most welcome to come on the Journey in Faith.
