Key Stage One children from St James' School will be making a tour of the Church from 10.00am.
Saturday 5th July
Military Whist Drive, starting 7.30pm, to raise funds for Francis Charlesworth who will be going to India as part of BSES (British Schools Exploration Society). The cost will be £6 and include food.
Monday 7th July
Day of Reflection for the six new members of our community at Aylesford (meet at church for 9.30am Mass). No Journey in Faith this evening.
Baptismal Preparation Evening, in the church from 8.30–9.45pm, for parents presenting their children for baptism but who have not yet attended an evening.
Tuesday 8th July
Justice & Peace meeting at 8.00pm. Please come and get involved with CAFOD, Fairtrade, Jesuit Refugee Service and Paul and Rachel in Peru. The group is doing great work but we need many more of you to help – thanks to those who have been in contact with Paul and Rachel.
Thursday 10th July
Meeting for ALL Youth Leaders and Helpers at 8.00pm (for Junior and Senior Youth Groups, Guides and Scouts). This follows the excellent Deanery meeting on 25th June, at which several ideas were suggested. Fr Bryan would like to suggest several new initiatives as well as thank the leaders for the first class work already being done. Please make this meeting a priority.

Coloma School Fete from 12–4pm at Upper Shirley Road, Croydon. Please give your support if possible.
Wednesday 23rd July
St James' School Leavers' Mass at 9.30am. This will be a very special Mass for our year 6 children as they move onto secondary schools, but it will also be the last Mass with Pauline Sammon as Head Teacher. There will be a presentation from the parish. All parishioners are welcome to this Mass.
Teddy Bear’s Picnic at 3.15pm in Presbytery garden organised by the CWL. Admission £2 adults and £1 children (teddy Bears free!!). There will be a raffle. All children must be accompanied.
Sunday 27th July
St Jamesfest!! There will be a Parish Bring and Share Picnic to celebrate our Patron Saint from 12.30pm onwards in the Presbytery garden.
Monday 28th July
CWL meeting at 8.00pm in the Social Centre. Ladies - remember to bring your poems!
